Amanda completed her 200 hour certification with PURE Yoga in New York City in 2012. She is also certified in Pre and Post Natal Yoga,Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Power Yoga  where she was also certified thru PURE Yoga. Amanda mentored under Mary Barnes, creator of the Barnes Method for an additional 100 hours towards her 500 hours E-RYT. Amanda also recently traveled to India to complete a 200 hour Lifestyle of a Yogi training where she lived at the foothills of the Himalayas for two weeks and was immersed in true yogic studies. 


With her love of fitness she also decided to get certified to teach PXT which is a high intensity cross training class designed to challenge the body through interval training. Look for her Fitness classes for Mom's on the Mud Side of Mud And Lotus!

Amanda has been practicing yoga since the age of 16 but after the birth of her daughter in 2011 she was so inspired by her yoga teachers she made the decision to become a teacher herself. Amanda encourages the growth of her students through her meaningful and compassionate style of teaching.

 

Amanda is excited to become a part of the Mud And Lotus team and can be found on schedule teaching yoga and private yoga sessions on the Lotus side as well as personal training and small group fitness classes for moms on the Mud side!
