At Mud And Lotus our focus is on attention to proper form & detailed movements and creating an experience that will leave you uplifted and feeling better than you did when you arrived. 

Our Mud Training class (MHIIT) features different cardio machines along with our Suples Gladiator Wall, free weights and different creative ways to create resistance in the body. Our trainers specialize in HIIT style training (which will raise heart rate and efficiently get into the fatty acid tissues we all so lovingly want to kill lol), weight loss, and overall strength and conditioning. 


The interior of the space was designed to bring you back to the old school basics of fitness. You'll experience a mix of leather kettle bells and authentic vintage free weights, some vintage framed photos adorning the walls, and simple vintage light fixtures (that don't create too much heat), with the modern day music and feel our instructors bring to the class.

As the Thich Nhat Hahn quote indicates, without this Mud style training we would not be able to blossom into the Lotus flowers that we are. Our muscle fibers need to tear in order to get gains, our bodies need to go through some changes if we are to see and feel the physical results we desire. Mud Training is where this work happens.

Our Lotus Center offers more of the restorative practices to Mud And Lotus. We come to the Lotus side to recover, restore our energy, and heal; mind, body and spirit. No matter how hard we work to change our diet and fitness practice, if the head isn't right, it doesn't stick. If we don't give our body the recovery it needs, we don't garnish the same gains. 


Enjoy gentle restorative yoga practices and meditation classes as well as Pilates Mat classes and Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow Yin and candle lit Nidra. Our instructor Amanda specializes in pre and post natal fitness and yoga for women.  Our dance instructors Carla and Sunny specialize in dance that pulls out the divine feminine, sensuality, and well-being of the SOUL. 


Your personal training at Mud And Lotus can be as specialized and tailored to your needs as you desire.  Our staff ranges from elite gymnasts, physique competitors, broadway dancers, and people who have had their own transformation with fitness & weight loss and can relate to yours, to pre and post natal specialists, yogis, ex-ballet dancers, combat stage fighters, actresses & singers, and moms with new babies.

Jeni Fujita, owner and founder of and Mud And Lotus Training Center had her own life changing transformation with fitness and diet back in 2009-10. After a series of yo yo diets, she fell into a place of deep self discovery and change. She was invited to do a test group where she learned what NOT to do and also what worked for her. She has since released 50 lbs and kept it off. She no longer has joint paint or plantar fasciitis, and her energy is out of the roof high! She shared her transformation as it was happening with friends on social media and was immediately overwhelmed by the number of messages from friends who wanted her help. She took her life coaching background and shifted into what she calls Food Coaching.  Jeni has since helped countless men and women achieve their healthiest body composition & energy levels which in turn raised their quality of life. "When you give the body what it needs, the body will give you what you want." Jeni says, but not until then.


Her program is an anti-inflammatory/alkaline program with intense one on one accountability contact with Jeni daily for 30 days. Jeni says, "My goal is to coach myself out of a job. By the end of our 30 days together I want you totally independent of me... and you will be. This is about finding what works for YOUR body, learning how to listen to your body while still enjoying one of the best pleasures life has to offer. Food!"
